Yeah I had it with my first but it didn't start til about 34w when baby dropped.
This time has been so brutal from the beginning though. I've been doing some exercises to help manage my pain and going for walks to prevent my back and hips from stiffening up... but now I can't even do that.
If this one is anything like her sister, I've only got another 6 weeks to suffer lol

I'm suffering with it really bad started just before my 14th week this time. I had it with my previous pregnancy a couple years ago but it didn't start until I was over 20 weeks and I had to be in physical therapy twice a week which didn't helps me much. SPD gets worse the further along you get. Try going to your doctor see if there's anything they can do for you. I do remember the feeling of pressure I had down there once Stella had dropped but my doctor refused to induce even though I could hardly get around and when I did deliver her she was 9 lbs 10 oz!! I'm going through a different clinic just because of that. I'm not going to give you false hope and say it'll get better or ease up but honestly it's just something that'll unfortunately get worse.

I completely understand I don't wear mine at home either for the same reasons.. I know it's hard I'm 38+3 and just lifting my legs up on the sofa or when I get into bed is agony but SPD unfortunately is one of those things that won't go or won't be eased.. paracetamol don't even touch it.. warms baths etc help.. my baby girl did the same thing up until 34 weeks with the movement changes.. I defo think she could have dropped a little if you feel more pain though.. I know it's not much comfort but we don't have much longer to go.. then the SPD will go.. take care hun

Thanks for the responses ladies!
It's hard to say how Rowan is positioned right now. It feels to me like she could be head down based on where she's kicking me at the moment, but she rolls around so much it's hard to say lol. Even my midwife has a hard time figuring it out and she's been practicing for 20 years haha!
Yes I do have a belt which helps A TON when I'm out walking at the store or something but it's not much use at home because I'm up and down so many times and doing a lot of bending so it slides around and gets really uncomfortable.

Ah I feel your pain hun.. ive had spd since about 22 weeks and my belt helps a lot. I did notice that my SPD got much worse once my daughters head went down and she started to engage.. I actually went to maternity ward as I thought she was going to drop out with the amount of pressure in my pelvis and behind.. SPD is such a pain.. literally.. do you have a belt? It does ease the pain x

I would agree that baby girl is probably head down now, plus a short gap between pregnancies, can you feel where babys head is with your hands? Xx
