Asked by Verily
I was diagnosed with vertigo a couple weeks ago. I've never had it in my life and both my primary care doc and the physical therapist I've seen think it is pregnancy related. The physical therapist says he has seen it in many pregnant women and it seems to be related to blood pressure changes.
It has been pretty debilitating. My "baseline" feels like I'm on a boat in rough waters all day. If I'm active at all (even a trip round the grocery store), it gets worse and I have fainted.
I'm a little concerned about labor when my body will be very active and my blood pressure will be extremely variable. Anyone have experience with vertigo during late pregnancy or labor? This is my third baby BTW.
Thanks!
