Q: Bleeding all day. Confused and scared.
I am 5w+2 days past my lmp. I have had positive hpts all week. Thursday I had a bad anxiety attack. Friday morning I woke up to pink spotting. I went to my primary physician and she did another urine test (came back positive immediately). My hcg was 34. She said if I bled anymore to go to the ER. Later, the same day, I noticed I was spotting a tiny bit heavier with a brown color. I called the primary physician back and she sent me to the ER. The ER staff said they couldn't see anything on ultrasound yet (due to how early it is) & my hcg was at 51.6. The urine test said positive and my cervix is closed. It's now Saturday night and I have been bleeding fresh red blood all day with dull cramping in the pelvis and lower back. I got a strong positive on 2 hpts this morning, but the bleeding and cramping is really making me worry. I don't know what to think! I am so afraid to get my hopes up about this pregnancy for fear of another miscarriage. Does anybody have any advice?This question was asked Nov. 15, 2015 5:25am
