Q: Bleeding and cramping. Scared I'm miscarrying. Ready to give up hope.
I know I've posted several questions this week, but I'm scared. Friday morning, I saw my primary care physician. My hcg was 34. I started spotting later that same day and was sent to the E.R. by my primary care physician. My hcg was 52 and my cervix was closed. Nothing on ultrasound. Saturday, I started bleeding red. It's heavy enough to look like a period and has clotting present. Sunday, I started cramping. I returned to the E.R. and still nothing on ultrasound, hcg was 135, but no cervix exam was performed. They were even giving me the "it's not your fault" miscarriage speech. I bled and cramped all through Monday. It's Tuesday morning. Still cramping and bleeding. This is day 4 of moderate red blood flow. I'm scheduled to see one of the midwives at my OB's office because he isn't available. I feel so certain that the midwife will say I've miscarried. I'm so scared. I don't know what to do. I feel like I should just give up on this pregnancy :'(This question was asked Nov. 17, 2015 2:09pm
