Q: Tips for curing thrush?

I'm in my first trimester and I've had thrush since before my bfp. Initially I used clotrimazole three times a day for over two weeks, that didn't work. I went to the doctor who prescribed me a three day clotrimazole treatment, which obviously hasn't worked (it cleared up for three days but it's back both internally and externally). I tried coconut oil which seemed to help but I forgot it one day so now it's back. My diet is low in sugar, I eat bio yogurt, I exercise most days but always shower after and dry myself very carefully, I use intimate wash instead of soap... Is there anything else I should be doing? Do you know of any miracle cure or way to prevent thrush in pregnancy? Thank you.

While I agree that Google is truly amazing...please don't take any medical advice found there as scientific fact. Please speak with your healthcare provider prior to trying any homeopathic type remedies. While some of them are amazing, others can be extremely harmful.

Stop using soap of any kind. Rinse with some water and leave it alone. Those intimate soaps are full of crap that has no business near your bits!
