To get high risk results . How are you handling it all ? What were your high risk numbers ? I'm sure everything will be fine. I honestly will not get this test my next pregnancy . Wayyyy to much stress. A lot of the time they are false positives

Candychic577 I got my screening test Done and I believe my numbers were 1 in 270 . So I barilly made the high risk mark. They refered me to a genetic counseler and to go get a ultrasound to see if there were any soft markers for ds so I went to my appointment 4 weeks scheduled out ugh it was the Longest 4 weeks ever. I had so much anxiety .anyways . I went got The ultrasound and they said there were no signs of it however sometimes ultrasounds can't see it all so I spoke with genetic counsler and she tried to get me to do a couple of tests like an aminocentesis and another one but they both carry the risk for a miscarriage and it wasn't worth taking the chance to lose my baby over it because I would love her no matter what. Now I just have one follow up ultrasound just to make sure she's doing good at 28 weeks. I was 19 weeks when I got the other ultrasound and am almost 27 weeks now so my ultrasound is coming up ! I'm excited to see her. It's definitely tough to get the high risk

These tests have an incredibly high rate of false positives.

That's exactly why I will not run those blood tests. They can come back with stuff like that even when nothing is wrong. Try not to worry everything will be just fine.
