Q: Am I still pregnant?

Since a week prior to BFP I have been feeling preasure on my left side near my left ovary, very sensitive boobs and alot of lower back pain. Once I received our BFP the symptoms continued, making me a little nervous since this would be the first time being pregnant. I decided to make an appointment on November 25th to do blood work and ease my mind a bit. The day of the appointment I noticed some spotting early in the morning. Then it stopped threw out the day. When getting to my appointment my doctor did an ultrasound even though we both knew that nothing could be visible yet. During the exam I felt as if he did a Pap-smear test as well.
Is that normal on the 1st visit?? I am now worried that, that is the reason why I am no longer pregnant. After the Pap and ultrasound I began spotting again a little bit more than in the morning but now it was bright redish (apologies for extra details) & now get BFN tests could I still be pregnant?

It is normal to spot after a pap smear. I had quite a bit of bleeding after my last one and everything was normal. It is concerning though that you are getting negative HPTs when they were positives before. =( Hoping for the best for you but that part doesn't sound good

Paps are normal at your first OB visit. If you were getting positives before and negative now it sounds as if you may have lost the baby but if I were you I'd goin and get more blood work done.

What did the blood work show? And yes, a PAP at your first prenatal is standard.
