Q: Shouldn't my cervix be high by now?

I'm approximately 11w5d and my cervix is still low. It's soft and has changed shape but shouldn't it have risen by now? I know I'm not meant to check it during pregnancy but I was checking my cm as there wasn't enough to show on toilet paper and looks like I have internal thrush again. Any way, is it normal to have a low cervix at this stage? What's the normal range of time for it to rise? Thank you in advance :)

Just like pre-pregnancy, the cervix is unpredictable. I would suggest leaving your cervix alone from here on out so that you don't accidentally cause irritation leading to bleeding. The cervix is very sensitive now due to hormone levels. It doesn't matter where it is at this point.
