Q: Really scared about pregnancy #4

I'm really nervous for baby #4... Obviously I've already had three children, so I feel like maybe my utrus isn't in the best condition...

My 3rd baby was also a C-section - I'm worried about my uterus stretching and any scar tissue etc.. I also haemorrhaged on the operating table with #3 - although I didn't know - and I'm scared it might happen again...

I also have breathing related health anxiety and I'm worried about how I'll feel when I'm really big :( :( :( I'm also worried about spinal during C-section going too far up and feeling like a cant breathe - I could literally cry when I think about it... I'm SO SO SO SO worried...

I'm also worried about my recovery and my age - I was in my late teens-mid twenties when I had my other children - aged 13, 6 and 5... I'm worried at 32 I'll be more at risk from complications etc..

You'd think having had three children, I'd know what to expect, but I am absolutely TERRIFIED of the entire thing :( :( :(

You should go to the doctor and get some lab work done just to rule out pregnancy and other sinister things that could give off HCG levels. I'm planning on getting fixed after this pregnancy. My boyfriend has three from other relationships and then this will be my third baby so there will be 6 total. Hope everything comes back ok for you though.

It's ok, decision was taken out of my hands...despite STILL testing positive on a Superdrug (UK) test this morning, including FRER, CB Easy and CB digital - not even the remotest hint of a line...

So, I've either had a chemical pregnancy, potentially ovarian cysts or something more sinister - the superdrug and boots tests both stated breast and lung cancer produce low level HCG in their information leaflet. I will await the arrival of AF on 14/01 and then do some tests afterwards to establish whether or not I do need to go to the doctor - but I wish to rule out chemical pregnancy first.

I'm relieved actually, and have subsequently decided that I am happy with the three children I have and I will be looking into permanent tubal ligation in the summer, once university finishes..

It's normal to be worried and scared. I'm really scared about this pregnancy and was just diagnosed with asthma which I never have had until this pregnancy. Your doctor can write a referral to a high risk clinic with the issues youve had. Just know you can do this. Things will be ok.
