I had a sch with my last pregnancy which unfortunately didn't work out but the sch was in the absolute worst possible place and very large. This pregnancy I have another one and I am now 18 weeks and feeling kicks. It really depends on the size and place. Once you've seen the heartbeat things get a lot more positive. Up until recently I would get really stressed out and anxious about it, so I would light a scented candle and lie down and talk to baby. Sounds a bit silly because they can't hear yet but it really helped me calm down. Sending lots of positive vibes for a happy healthy 9 months for you :)

Thank you so much for your responses! Mommy butterfly,I have been resting and have noticed a decrease in pain, that in it's self makes me feel much better! Traumaqueen, your post definitely gave me some peace . I had been reading studies on SCH and every one that I read had completely different findings. Some made me feel much better and then others terrified me! It helps to hear from someone that has had one and that now has a healthy pregnancy! Have a happy healthy nine months!

I had one diagnosed at 5w5d. Mine was fairly large so they told me to expect some spotting or even moderate bleeding. I did not have any activity restrictions and I'm a register nurse in a critical care unit, so Lord knows I did plenty of heavy lifting.
I never experienced any bleeding or spotting, just an occasional sharp cramp. At my 12wk scan they said there was no sign of haemorrhage.
Just follow your doctor's orders and try not to stress. I read somewhere that the risk of miscarriage goes way down once you've seen the heartbeat! That helped me out a lot!

I've never gone through that but as long as you're resting completely it should heal. Baby sounds good and healthy so just try to remain as relaxed as possible.
