Q: Does it mean I'll have another big baby?

Went in for my OB appt yesterday and I'm 30 weeks pregnant but measuring at 37 weeks. 2 weeks ago I measured at 31 weeks. I know this isn't normal as now my OB is really concerned and spent a half hour talking to me about the baby and my last pregnancies and bringing up having a csection which I don't want.
Has anyone else been through this? If so how big was your baby? My last baby was 9 pounds 10oz and I'm scared of having an 11-12 pound baby

My last baby was real big and I measured 4 weeks ahead the entire pregnancy. Everywhere I feel I hit baby she already feels pretty big. She's messured bigger on all the ultrasounds I've had but I know my dates aren't off at all. I don't have GD at all I was just tested. My boyfriend was also 9 pounds when he was born so I've a strong feeling this baby will be big too.

You will find that ultrasounds can be so so inaccurate when measuring towards the end and woman have their baby at an adverage size. Seven weeks is quite a difference though. You don't have gestational diabetes. I had a csection with my last. If your OB things that's your best option then you should listen after all they're the experts. Best of luck :-)
