Q: Convertible car seat suggestions?

My daughter is almost 3 months old and we're looking into convertible car seats for her. We're looking at getting the Graco 4Ever seat, but I'm looking for other suggestions to compare it to. We probably won't switch her for a couple of months yet, but we want to go ahead and get it with our tax return. Hoping to keep the cost less than $300, as that's what the 4Ever seat runs. The seat we got for our 18 month old last year is no longer available, otherwise we would just get another one for Valerie.

Did the maker of your older child's car seat make a newer version? Usually if you like a brand that's great to stick too.

I am planning on the Graco 4Ever myself :)
