Q: How do I know for sure if I'm having a miscarriage?

I went to get seen at the hospital on March 3, 2016 for cramping and spotting.. I only took 2 home pregnancy test. I got a transvaginal sonogram done; and they told me that I was for sure going to have a miscarriage, and they told me that all they saw was a empty sac. I know my last cycle started in January, but I wasn't sure of the date.
It's March 18, 2016, and i still haven't had a miscarriage, and the spotting is most likely trying to stop. Is there a possibility they could be wrong; and my pregnancy Ok?

You for sure need to get rechecked - blood work and probably a repeat ultrasound.

That's why it's best to avoid early scans. If you were around 4-6 weeks during the scan the sac would be the only thing they'd see. If I were you I'd go in to your primary OB or dr and have them recheck. You're far enough along now to know if something is wrong.
