Q: Hook effect and when it happenes

Is it possible to get the hook effect as early as 5 weeks 3 days?? Any one have that issue that early?

It all depends on how high your hcg is. I believe I had a hook effect test at 5w4d, but I had really high hcg at the time (8,000 by 5 weeks). The dilution experiment didn't work for me, though, so I'm not sure if it was the hook effect or just a test with less dye/more diluted urine. Anyway, I'm 11w4d now and have seen my little one with a healthy heartbeat 3 times so far. Fingers crossed for you!

I had a missed miscaridge around this same time. The test started getting lighter around now.

It's a bit early but it really depends on the tests, tgey are so sensitive these days, maybe dilute some and see what happens, its time to put down the tests lol
