Q: 23 weeks and not many baby movements

I am 23 weeks pregnant and I am not feeling many baby movements at all. This is my 2nd pregnancy and with number one, I felt her move at 16 weeks and she was a real wriggler - hubby even felt her kick at 21 weeks. But this time around, I feel the odd poke here and there but not much and I can go for a few days without feeling anything at all. I have an anterior high placenta. A few people I have spoken to who have had boys, didn't feel proper movements until 24 weeks and I am wondering if this is a boy! On the other hand, I am of course worried too. I use a home Doppler when I am really worried and get a nice strong heartbeat but I would really value people's advice and experience on this. Thank you

Congratulations,
Since every pregnancy is different this little bug just might be a little more low key. If i were you, as long as you ahve that strong heartbeat I wouldnt worry. Worryibg is never a key, you just need to trust your doctor, and stay happy.
