Q: Sono and hcg results

I am 6wks 5dys at 6wks 2dys had my labs and a abdomen sono done and had my levels at 17386. But only a gestational sac was seen and measuring 5wks 2dys. Worried because they are supposed to see a heartbeat by then but I don't know if it was because of the type of sono I had. what do you all think???

They should be doing a transvag ultrasound that early. They probable couldn't get an accurate measure of the gs because of the abdominal ultrasound. I didn't have an abdominal ultrasound until 13 weeks with both pregnancies.

At that time I had the vaginal ultrasound. I am 12 weeks and 6 days and I am still getting the vaginal ultrasound. Doctor said its to make sure they see everything.

Around 6 weeks they seen a flicker but they werent positive if it was the heartbeat just yet. I couldnt go back for a month. When I went back at 11 weeks and 2 days I finally seen the baby and heard the heartbeat.

Dont worry yourself out too much.
