Q: Is this another blood clot or a twin?

I went in for my first ultrasound at 5 weeks 3 days. I was told that I have a blood clot which I can see directly above the gestational sac. However there was another sac to the left of the first one which she did not acknowledge to much. It looked like I saw a flickering inside but I am not sure if it was a heartbeat since the first sac did not show a heartbeat since I am so early in my pregnancy. My ultrasound picture is located in my profile if anyone would like to take a look. The sac on the left is the same shape as the first one it just didnt show up well in the same frame. I would like to know if anyone has been in a similar situation and if it turned out to be a second blood clot or a twin. I have another week before I go back for my next ultrasound. Any answers are appreciated. Thanks.

I would think if there was another sac, they would have mentioned it to you. If you see it on your ultrasound again, just ask them what it is. The flicker you saw could just be slight movement of the wand.
