Q: Eyebrow shapping safe?

I am 27 weeks pregnant. Is it safe to shape eyebrows during pregnancy using thread?

Heard from my sister tat we should not do and in parlor they will deny. Is it true? Will it cause any problem to baby or mom. I have baby shower in 3 weeks, so want to look pretty.
