Q: Could I be further along than I thought?

I am '6 weeks, 4 days' but I already have a firm small belly showing. It doesn't seem to be bloating. I have had three kids, but my baby is almost 10 yrs. old and I am a 1 in size normally. I haven't been eating more than normal yet, so I'm not sure why I'd already be showing unless I'm further along than I thought. Maybe I ovulated sooner?? I had a strong positive test a week before my period was even due.

Ive heard you show faster in subsequent pregnancies. I know i do. You can also show faster when you are pettite. I've always gotten strong positives about a week before my period was due. Once it was because i was a week further along, which i already knew because i knew when i ovulated and my test was positive 2wks after my last period. Who's ever heard of being 2wks pregnant? The only way you'll know is an ultrasound. Congratulations!!

Yes, I went to the Dr on the 24th, but they only took a urine sample and a blood sample. I go back July 8, and I believe they are doing an ultrasound then. I hope anyway. I got my positive on June 7, and my period wasn't due until June 13.

Have you seen the doctor yet? You may be further along than you thought or just bloated. Or it could be twins??? A strong positive a week before period is due is crazy. A doctor will be able to tell you for sure how far along you are.
