Q: Is an hcg level of 3606 good for 5 wks.

I have had two miscarriage (6/24/15 & 5/6/16). I just found out I was pregnant on 7/3/16 and I am EXTREMELY nervous. I had my hcg levels done on yesterday and they were 3,606. My last menstrual was on 6/3/16 and ovulated on 6/15/16. Are those levels good?

Thanks for responding ladies. My doctor had me to get levels drawn again due to the previous ones being at the ER but they went from 3,606 (7/10), 6,487 (7/11) and 10,798 (7/13). I hope that means I am making progress. I have my first appt. on the 25th. Please keep me in prayer ladies!!

Sounds good, as long as they are doubling. Also ask about your progesterone levels. If they are not rising the way they should the doctors should put you on medication to help with that. That can also cause miscarriage. I was at high risk my entire first trimester until my progesterone levels were where they wanted it to be and I had to take medication.

Have hope and good luck!

Sounds normal to me within range... the important part is the doubling time.... have it drawn again in 48 hours as long as it doubles your in the clear. I know how nerve racking it can be we had 4 miscarriages before we got our rainbow baby. Sending you baby dust
