Q: 8 weeks pregnant tingly tummy?

Hi I am 8 weeks today and have been getting a tingly sensation in my lower tummy. Is this normal? I haven't had cramping. Very nauseous and sicky and finding it hard to eat. Lost 4lbs as well.

I lost weight in my first trimester too, and it came back without a problem - so don't worry about that too much. I've had some tingling as well, and I think it's just ligaments stretching etc., but I had it more around pubic bone. It would generally only last for a few seconds to a minute and then go away. Unless you're bleeding or having bad cramping, most docs will just tell you any new feelings/sensations are just a normal part of pregnancy.

I agree with kvstone. It is most likely just your ligaments growing. As well mention it to your doctor. As for you losing weight, I did not lose weight but I did not gain any weight during my first trimester. And I was definitely eating lol. So dont stress that too much. However if the nausea is really preventing you from eating and getting the nutrients you need for the baby ask your doctor if you can take anything to curb the nausea so you can eat.

Also there is this thing called sea band a few of my friends used it. Look it up and ask your doctor as well.

It's probably your pelvis and ligaments stretching out, making room for baby to grow, I would just mention it at your next appointment. Congrats! Hope the sickness passes soon!
