Q: Anyone else 5/6 weeks and having morning sickness already?

I'm 5/6 weeks. Found out a week ago after being 7 days late and testing. With my first pregnancy (boy, now 12) I never got sick ever. 2nd pregnancy was with our (boy girl) twins, now 9. And I was sick from about 8 weeks until delivery day.
Now, I'm waking in the morning with mild nausea. No throwing up (yet, knock on wood) also when smells bother me I get nauseous. I'm kind of scared it may be twins again! Since I'm feeling sick already. First scan and obgyn appt is Sept 13th. So I can ask them then, but I'd like to hear from YOU!! Did you have nausea? When did it start?? Idk why I am thinking 5 weeks is too early to have "morning" sickness!

This is my first pregnancy. I tested positive 3 days after my late period. However, I did not test because my period was late (my period sometimes changes a few days early and a few days late). I tested because I was nauseas all day long, every single day and because I suddenly needed a nap in the middle of the day. I found out a few days later at the doctors that I was 5 weeks and 2 days pregnant.

I dealt with nausea everyday until my 2nd trimester.

I didn't have nausea my first 4 pregnancies (2 births) but did my last (starting at 6 weeks) and this one (starting at 4 weeks). All singleton. Who knows, though, you are higher risk for twins since you already have a set.

Every pregnancy is very different so it doesn't necessarily indicate twins :-)
I've been very well this time around, however my last pregnancy I was living over the toilet bowl from 5/6 weeks like what you are describing!
I think my morning sickness was exaggerated by the B vitamins in my prenatal last time but even when I couldn't stomach them I was still very sick. Happy and healthy pregnancy to you!
