Q: Nipples sinking after Birth

Hello, Did anyone else have one of their nipples sink and turn inward after they stopped breastfeeding? I am going to the doctors this afternoon to get checked out, but was wondering if it is common.

Glad to hear they don't think it's anything serious, hope it doesn't pose any future problems for you.

Well, the doctor thinks it is just from weight loss after birth and breastfeeding. But did have me get a mammogram, which was very uncomfortable. Thankfully it came out clear of anything. They do want me to follow up with a breast specialist to see if it is something to be worried about in the future. I see him next Friday. Very relieved it wasn't anything more serious, since my family has a history of breast cancer.
