Q: 7w past IUI and baby measuring 6w 2D. HR 103. I need stories of reassurance!

I am 7 weeks today. Baby measures 6 weeks 2 days with a HR of 100-105. This is my 4th with 3 previous losses so you know I am terrified. I am going back again in a week for another scan. Please put my mind at ease ladies so I can function this next week! Tech said that for 6.2 the HR is great but I am supposed to be 7 weeks!? How accurate are early scans and implantation timing? Can I really only be 6.2 or is my baby in trouble?

I personally knew that I ovulated late with my first child and when I had an early scan it didn't match up with my ovulation date (it actually matched up with my LMP start date). Everything else looking normal though and I went on to have a healthy pregnancy with a healthy little baby girl. I know they say the earlier scans are more accurate but I personally knew it didn't line up with when I ovulated.

Everyone says they are accurate, but even with me they told me I was ahead of what my dates showed (before we even ttc) so you can't get too concerned with that even though I know that's impossible for us mothers, lol. If your doc isn't concerned yet, try to just remember that there is nothing that will help/change anything by worrying. What you're talking about is only a few days, my last mc I was supposed to be like 8 or 9 weeks and baby was measuring at 6 weeks with 90-something heartbeat. I'll keep you in my thoughts, I know what you are going through, girl. Xoxo

I have heard they are very accurate however with that being said when I had my dating scan I knew I was 8 weeks and measured 5 days behind they doctor changed my due date... fast foward to my 12 week scan and he was measuring 5 days ahead and still is I argue everytime I go in they have my due date 5 days behind baby is doing great keep your head up I spoke with my high risk doctor she reassured me that yes they are pretty accurate but when she looked at my scan from 8 weeks the baby looked scrunched up and she said that's how sometimes they are a few days behind hope this helps.... also I suffered 6 losses when we finally got prego with my last son and had our 6 week scan the doctor gave me some numbers about once you see a heart beat your chances of loss decreases.....
