Q: Bad cramps, early pregnancy (4weeks, 2days) . Is everything okay?

I have had miscarriages in the past so these cramps are making me nervous. They're similar to bad period cramps, nearly crippling, and stop after 20-30 seconds,

I've noticed that I get them after being active or getting up after laying or sitting down after while.

I haven't had any bleeding at all, I'll be seeing my doctor Thursday but I wanted to know if anyone else had bad cramps at the start with a happy ending.

Thanks!

This pregnancy I had some pretty crippling cramps and I still have them every once in a while and I have also had miscarriages. As long as there isn't any presence of blood I think you should be ok. How far along are you? And do these cramps only happen on one side. My cramps didn't feel like period cramps .. to me mine were more sharp and localized as opposed to my entire uterus cramping. Let me know how the doctor visit is. I'm 13 weeks and still get some cramps but I just tell myself its baby growing... its gets me through it. Good luck!

I have been pregnant 4 times, 2 miscarriages, 1 healthy baby boy and 28 weeks into this pregnancy and I have cramped all 4 times, no bleeding is a good sign. Remember there is a lot happening down there right now so I think its pretty normal to have some discomfort. Hang in there!

At the start of this pregnancy I did have cramps with no bleeding. Doctor told me it was round ligament pain. I am now 33 weeks. Hopefully you will be fine. Good luck.
