Q: Pink spotting normal?

I've been spotting when I wipe on and off for three days. I thought it was at first because I was constipated, but that is no longer the problem. I seem to have mild cramps and then spotting when I have to go to the bathroom, both #1 and #2, but not every time, and spotting maybe once a day and mild cramps every night from around 10pm to maybe 1am. I'm 7 weeks, 2 days pregnant and I had my first sonogram yesterday- baby's heartrate was 140 and everything looked normal. II'm 40 years old and this is a IUD baby, (IUD spontaniously came out apparently before I got pregnant), so I'm worried about miscarriage. s this spotting anything to be worried about?

Spotting in early pregnancy can be completely normal. A lot of women experience it and go on to have a healthy baby. I personally bled through the first trimester of both of my pregnancies. I had a healthy full term pregnancy with my daughter and I am currently 36 weeks with my second kiddo. It is normal for me to bleed.

With that said, you should always let your provider know about the spotting so they can keep track of it or tell you what to watch out for. In my case my blood type is RH- so they usually wanted me to get my rhogam shot after the spotting started just incase.

I know it is basically impossible, but try not to worry or stress. It is good that you have already seen the baby and that the heart beat was detected. :)
