Q: Inducing labour?

I'm getting so discouraged...2 days past my due date and nothing yet... what worked for you ladies? I've had 4 sweeps, 2 reflexology sessions, bouncing in exercise ball... nothing is working! I'm 4 cm, easily stretched to 5, but no contractions yet!

Have you tried pumping my ob said 20 min each side up to 3 times a day... my midwife said 15 min each side for 3 hours once a day and it certainly brought on contractions

Be glad you are dilating without contractions! I bet once they start it will happen quickly

Hmmm, I was a week late with my last....evening primrose oil and raspberry leaf tea. My only issue with it was once at the hospital I was at 6 and went to a 7 in 5 hours. Doc had to break my water and I had him 15 minutes after that. I don't remember the dosage of pills, you'd have to look it up. I'm still debating whether or not I'll do it again. Sorry I have nothing else for ya. I'm not in a rush for mine to come so I'm holding off lol, I'll be 39 weeks tomorrow. GL :)
