Q: Is labor approaching??

For the past week I have felt off....I have had increased braxton hicks. Sometimes they are so strong I can feel my heart beating faster and my breathing intensify. Sometimes they cease upon movement, sometimes they hault me in my tracks. I have an almost constant dull backache that is intensified with the braxton hicks. I have felt pressure in my pelvis. For the past two days I have experienced increased bowel movements and yesterday morning when wiping there was a string of snotty looking (possibly part of a mucous plug??) stuff on the TP. I go between bouts of nesting (I cleaned the entire kitchen and laundry room this weekend) and being exhausted (in part because I am not sleeping so well at night). Should I be preparing for labor to be coming???

Hi dear,
All the symotoms are different un every woman. Some woman can start to feel the braxton hicks a little too soon than others, and might last longer in these woman as well! But as you seem to be a little too early for moving into a labour already, it can be inducative of a few things. If you really are feeling the said symptoms, chances are that you are really tired and exhausted because you seem to be working a lot with possibly no sleep. I will recommend you to take a break for one day, and listen to some meditational music on youtube, it is tge best sleep-inducing method proven! Over working, ir stressing yourself out during this stage of pregnancy can be way too much risky, and the risk is surely way too much. If you continue to feel trouble in your abdomen, or bach ache, i will suggesf you to stay in touch withyour gynaecologist to avoid any situation of mis happening. Youneed to pay great attention towards what is happening within your body during this stage. Good luck!

Yes according to our OB we are 34 weeks today. He is already expecting us to delivery btwn 37-38 weeks based on past pregnancies. I agree, if we can slow down and baby can cool that would be ideal! They did pull me from work and I am on partial bed rest.

But apparently you are only 33 weeks or so pregnant? Hopefully Babs will hold off a bit longer!
