Q: Morning Sickness!!

Anyone else feel like they were dying with morning sickness?? I'm not actually being sick very often but I feel sick 24/7! I'm waking up feeling sick in the night. I can literally fancy something to eat 1 minute and then by the time it's made I am gagging at the smell or thought of eating it. Also tiredness, I mean I have 2 children already but the tiredness this time is killing me. When I wake up in the morning I feel like all my energy is being used just by laying still

Try eating little and often so that hunger is not making your sickness first. A cracker or biscuit by your bed might help - have one first thing in the morning before you do anything else. Also keep your fluids up. Drink more than usual and sip often. All that amniotic fluid and extra blood in your system has to come from somewhere. Remember, if you get to the point where you're not eating anything or can't keep down even liquids, you need to get some medical help. Or if you are just struggling to cope with daily life, you need to either get some help from friends/ family or see if your doc can offer you anything. I think it is hard for you if you are looking after little ones as you can't rest as much as you might need to. The body has to go through a lot to build a baby and an extra organ. First tri is tough and your body will tell you if you are overdoing it. Good luck!
