Q: HCG results

Hi ladies... almost 5 weeks pregnant & beyond excited!! Quick low down lol...im 38 & already have 4 kids. Twin girls, then 2 single boys, then had a miscarriage back in November 2016. So my question is regarding my HCG #s that seem kinda high to me? At 4 weeks 1 day my HCG level was 2200 then 2 days later my levels were at 5700 !! I'm absolute sure on LMP because I was tracking etc....trying to get pregnant...tracking ovulation etc. Also my progesterone at 4 wks was 28.6
Twins run high in my family & my 1st pregnancy was twins....none of my pregnancies were "medicated" just naturally conceived. I'm having a US next week at 6 weeks. Any info is appreciated.

Hello everyone,
Congratulations! I know it gets difficult, and dis heartenig at the same time to bear with the pain of losing a child, hence you are wanting to have as much careful steps as you can, and i can totally relate with the same. As far as your HCG results, are cincerned, i don't think you need to worry about anything, at all here. Because tge HCG levels are highest during the 2nd and 3rd month of your duration in pregnancy. And according to your results, you are doing absolutely fine until now. Maximum HCG can go up to 28k, which is more oftenly observed within women pregnant with twins. I think you are doing fine, all i will suggest you is to take extreme care of yourself, and ingulge in mild yoga exercises to relax your body, and stay hydrated.
