hi,
first off congratulations on your pregnancy. As for your HCG and scanning, the consultant is right there should be a two fold increase, however, not everything in a pregnancy always goes by the book. So, whatever it is don't stress yourself out as that can't help at all and as you are feeling quite sick that is more reason for you take rest and calm yourself. There is a very rational and surely treatable reason for this im sure. so just weather the storm and see what your scans have to say and im sure that your doctor will give you the necessary guidance and ensure to walk you through the process if there is anything wrong. it may not be anything except maybe changes in your nutrition/diet or lifestyle pattern if needed. Hang in there!

Hi
Congratulations on your pregnancy. It’s always better to consult your gynecologist than searching your answers in different forums. You seem very confused and puzzled. Please don’t be confused and trust your gynecologist. In pregnancy, nothing is for sure. Sometimes, one doctor says one thing and another doctor says some another thing. Please consult a very good gynecologist for your problems.
