Q: Lighter lines on subsequent tests?

I had a distinct, though light, positive test on Saturday (yay!) which was expected to be the first day of my period. I bought a few more tests today just for peace of mind, but when I took one this afternoon (2.5 days later) the line was much lighter, like, hardly visible. I'm 16 dpo, 2 days after my missed period. I just feel like my lines shouldn't be such squinters, and shouldn't be getting lighter. Has anyone else experienced this?

Definitely try taking a test with concentrated urine (usually fmu is best). Unfortunately, I've had 2 chemical pregnancies and my test lines got lighter each day. I hope this isn't the case for you. Wishing you sticky vibes.

afternoon urine is less concentrated. Try comparing samples from the same time each day to see if they are getting lighter or darker. Try first thing in the morning.
