Q: Chemical pregnancy/early miscarriage timeline?

I had a positive pregnancy test on Saturday (the day of my expected period), with lighter lines on subsequent days, then finally today a negative on a digital. I have zero symptoms of pregnancy or my period arriving, and I really just want to know what to expect. When should I start bleeding? Has anyone here experienced this, and if so, when did you conceive again after? I'm sad, but trying really hard to be clinical, not emotional. Thanks for your advice and experience!

That's definitely what's happening. I finally started bleeding yesterday. It doesn't seem too much heavier than a regular period (mine tend to be light and short) but I'm certainly having worse pain and cramping than usual.

This also happened to me. I got a BFN on a test and bleed a few days later...heavy bleed that lasted a bit longer than a regular period. On a positive note, I have a successful (currently 24 weeks along) pregnancy the following month.

It sounds like a chemical pregnancy. I had one once, it was like getting an angry, late, period. I was about a week late, then had the worst cramps I'd ever had with a period. I had to spend a day just laying around popping Midol. Chemical pregnancy is a very common occurrence (which doesn't help much on the emotional end, I know). Allow yourself to be upset; but know that it doesn't mean you can't ever have a baby. I conceived my son about three months after my chemical.
