With my son that I'm currently pregnant with, he did measure behind. This means that your baby could be on the smaller side which is ok, just as long as it is healthy.

I mean 17 days after my last period, not missed period.

I get ovulation cramps so i always know before an ultrasound that my estimated date is wrong. Like Jessica0319 said, the estimate is based on the generalization that you ovulated 14 days after your period. I had ovulation cramps 17 days after my missed period and my baby measured a couple days behind just like I expected but my doctor wasn't concerned. The baby had a strong heartbeat. Dates are only an estimate. The ultrasound is used to confirm your actual due date.

That's totally normal, 4 days is not much of a difference. You probably just ovulated later. When you base it off your last period that is only accurate if you ovulate on the 14th day of your cycle, a lot of women ovulate later than that. If your whole cycle is normally more than 28 days then that makes sense that it would be a few days off.

I thought I was also 8w2 days and my first US measured 7w1day. Im currently 37 weeks pregnant and baby is perfect. Try not to stress. I was told that a few days either way is considered normal.
