Q: Raglan is it bad ?

Has any one had any serious side effect from taking raglan? My DH read all the scary possibilities and now he doesn't want me to take it even though it's the first thing that I've done that has made me feel better. I have had morning sickness since around 3 weeks 5 days and now I have relief and he wants me to stop.

I had bad morning sickness from implantation until about 20 weeks. I ended up on the max dose of diclectin- which worked “enough” and Reglan was going to be our “next step” is Diclectin wasn’t cutting it as per my RE. I was prescribed Domperidone to up my milk production after birth as my milk didn’t come in (early csection due to preeclampsia and HELLP). I was told it was a class “b” med here in Canada and it was actually a class “a” in other places (Australia) - so considered safe for pregnancy - although I never did end up requiring it. I had zero issues with Domperidone when taking it up until 12 weeks pp.

I was going to use this to up my milk production, but my doctor highly advised me not to use it. There is actually an identical med that doesn't have all of the major side effects called domperidone. It is banned in the US, but widely used around the world. My MD actually directed me of how to get it elsewhere and I used that without any issues.
