Q: Surrogacy

I tried for 9 years to conceive naturally. Nothing worked. I was living with a feeling that I'll conceive soon. But after 9 years, I finally came to reality. I came to know that nothing's gonna change anything here. So I did some research on this. I finally found the perfect clinic. It was giving several packages for the whole process. One best thing was It's safety procedures. Moreover, all the doctors were so kind and helpful. I was much relieved after seeing the complete documentation. I can't explain the feeling I had when I held my daughter for the first time in my hands. I'm truly grateful for her. But still, there is a void. I still think sometimes that it would be better if I conceived myself. I don't have any differences with my 2 weeks old baby. But I'm afraid that I'll have some when she'll be grown up girl. I'm worried about the feeling I have. So anyone of you experienced the same thing? How did you get over it? Some motivation would be great in this regard.

I think you should give yourself sometime. Don't beat yourself up. You will get the feeling of being a mother soon. I am sure of it. You will start to feel more attached to her. Don't worry. Happy parenting.

I can understand your feeling as i m also a victim of infertility.I m trying to conceive for last ten years.I have tried all possible methods like IUI and IVF but i dont have any luck with them. I m afraid that as i m getting aged this causes a lot of stress.I was hopeless but fortunately a friend of mine told me about this surrogacy. I have consulted some of the experts and all of the gave me positive views. It is banned in some countries and it is a bit expensive. In USA and Europe is legal and patients are giving positive reviews. Some of the success stories have motivated me this is the reason i m going for it.

I guess surrogacy is the last option for me now to have baby of our own.
I have contacted many surrogacy related clinics and had gathered quite good info about surrogacy.
I also contacted some surrogates who are willing to cary our child in their womb.
I was pregnant thrice but had miscarriages every time.
I had many complications while getting pregnant.
During my first marriage i had no luck with having children although i conceived for 3 times.
I know today surrogacy is a common thing but i am worried about many aspects of having a baby via surrogacy.
I guess we will find a surrogate wth the help of clinic we are consulting.
I am married for second time i want to have baby of my own to live with.
But regarding and having a look at my previous pregnancy period i know its not a good idea to be pregnant again.
So i talked to my husband and have agreed him to go for surrogacy option.

You have such an inspiring story. This is so nice of you to share it over here. I have been in your shoes. After marriage, I had two MCs. They left me heartbroken. My husband and I tried surrogacy then. It worked. I got my baby boy. I wish everyone gets blessed with children.Cheers!

Hi! First I'm happy for you that you've a daughter. I understand how you feel. I felt the same after birth of my baby boy. And deep inside i wasn't happy with myself for being unthankful. See first i didn't have any hope for a child at all. Later when i finally had a child i had these mixed feelings. Do i love my child or i don't. Even thinking about this was horrible. I couldn't talk about this to anyone. But as the time passed and now my boy is 2 years old. I don't even get these mixed feelings. All i know is I've a boy and i love him. He means world to me. These kind of feelings are ok at first. These are our fears talking. There's nothing to worry about. That'll go away. You daughter is your daughter. You just used another woman's body because you couldn't conceive. That's totally normal. Accept it and your fears will be gone. Good luck for future.

Hello there. I'm really sorry to hear about your story. Keep the faith. You've been strong until now, keep it going. It's alright to feel that way. It's a new procedure, it'll take time to adapt. Good luck!

Many wishes for you. This is not the time to curse yourself, it's only the time to stay strong. My dear, you are lucky you are having your baby either through surrogacy or through natural pregnancy. Surrogacy is a blessing for any barren couple. It helped many couples in spreading their family. The option is available for the problems so feel yourself the luckiest woman on earth who have solutions for her problem. Moreover, going through the procedure with no consequences is also a mark of charm. Good fortunes my dear.

Well your doctor could tell you about the time limit exactly. It depends upon your procedure. He could tell you to take medicines of different kinds. Different injections you might have to get. After all of that you are ready for the insemination again and that is going to be successful for you. Just try to keep your intake good. Take some sessions of acupuncture that'd be helpful.
