Reply by FullOfBaby0527 » Mar. 28, 2013 5:53pm @kcordell its completely normal. I get it too. Its a mixture of your nose being dry and sinus you probably fight with headaches a lot too. Afm- so we are suppose to be going to a specialist to get our ultrasound done before my next appt at 20wks. The doctors office was suppose to call me by wed to see what day I would be available to go. Well I didn't here from them and decided to call. Well 6 tries to call the office and two left messages o haven't heard a thing. So o am starting to get pissed off. I mean I am really trying to be patience but this is my baby and I should be able to get some kind of clarity. I am seriously feeling like I need to get a different doctor. The front desk staff doesn't seem that attentive to me. I am going to talk to my hubby about it and we might just go do one of those elective ultrasounds and see how they act when we go to the next appt. What do y'all think? |

I got an elective ultrasound and it was worth every penny! My doctor's office doesn't know about it yet; they will at my appointment tomorrow, though! Kcordell--> The same thing happens to me every time I blow my nose, especially 1st thing in the morning. It's Spring time, and the pollen plays havoc with my sinuses! I'm gonna try to remember to ask the doctor if I can take Zyrtec now that I'm in my 2nd trimester. So my regular doctor won't see me anymore b/c I'm preggers! I was so disappointed.  I was hoping she would see me for this possible UTI, but she said for liability reasons I have to see my OB! Reply by 2Frsty » Mar. 30, 2013 3:08pm 16 week appointment went well! Total weight gain is 6 pounds and my OB wants my end weight gain to be 25 pounds (no less than 20 no more than 30.) Baby's heartbeat was 157 bpm, and ticking away loudly! We go back April 26 for our official gender scan, and I can't wait to see my baby again! The pendulum test i did was accurate for me. I wonder if the test is truly accurate. Has any one else tried the test. I did a forum for the test. To teat the accuracy rate. Just wanted clarity when Doc did measurements on head, abdomin, length, legs she said baby was in the 98th percentile for most of these except legs 50th percentile (but Dh and I are not the tallest people) but what does this mean? She said all is great and he is doing good. Other than that, all well on my side. - 27 September but mc in October at 8wks - 08 January 2013VBAC planned however if baby hasn't arrived by 16 September then we will have a c-sec. My eyes have been stinging for hours now because I'm so tired, but I got a full night's sleep last night. It's been like this for days. The OB put me on an iron supplement since I'm not eating red meat, but hasn't done any blood work since my 1st appointment. Wondering if I could be developing anemia? Reply by Lindsaytom » Apr. 4, 2013 6:04am Hi ladies FullOfBaby0527, I find sleeping extremely challenging. Takes a while for me to find my comfy spot and thanks to my preggy pillow that helps. Then there's the waking up with a bladder so full I could burst in the middle of the night and once I'm done and washed my hands I'm wide awake. So we start again. lol Also if I lay on one side too long and maybe baby doesn't like it I get these horrible stabbing pain. |

Please stop by forum on pendulum test for gender prediction and test to found out your gender. I'm asking everyone to post their pendulum results plus their official results once you receive it. To confirm the accuracy of the test. Y'all should try it. It should be fun |

Reply by 2Frsty » Apr. 4, 2013 1:45pm My MIL is a huge believer in the pendulum test; it's been right every time she's done it on someone. When we found out we were preggers she did it on me. It predicted the gender correctly, but it said my 1st pregnancy would be with twins. We has an u/s at 5,6,8,12 & 14 weeks, and trust me there's only 1 baby in there! But he IS definitely a boy  like the pendulum said he would be!I've also had trouble sleeping.  Not every single night, but there's been a few nights where I've had to come downstairs and sleep on the couch with a pillow between my legs.Am I the ONLY one who's not felt my baby move?!  Everyone else keeps talking about their little ones moving to and fro, but I've not felt anything. My OB said I probably won't until 20 weeks. I will occaisionaly feel little twinges that feel like nerve twinges down there on one side or in the middle, but it's not every day and sometimes it's so low on one side it's almost in the bend of my leg! I feel my little guy but not as regularly as I will later on. Also I am measuring almost a week ahead of EDD. Were getting so close to 20 weeks! Babynique I will give it a shot! And we wanted either :) I':m very happy with a boy! But I want at least 2 more babies after this one so I will have a chance for a girl later on! Fullofbaby. Sleep? What's that? I've been having such bizare dreams and I can't stay comfortable. I find laying on pillow when facin one side and laying on hubby when facing the other works best for me. Anyone having pains after peeing in am. I think its everything readjusting after having such a full bladder :/ but it hurts! |

I haven't felt the baby move yet... last time I was around 16 or 18 weeks and that was my first so I was hoping it would be sooner this time... but I think it will end up being the same! I am 15 weeks this week. Still struggling with sickness and having to take zofran twice a day just to keep from throwing up.... although I still feel naseaus even with it so it has been hard to eat alot. Hoping that ends soon Anyone else still have sickness? Otherwise I have lost weight due to the sickness so I am hopnig next apt. I put a little back on again. I had to do a 24 hour urine because of my high blood pressure and last pregnancy I started to get preecampsia. I am still waiting for my high risk dr. apt. in the next 2 weeks. (Just because of my age ect.) Anyone else have any special tests ect.? |
