hello

i am currently 8 weeks pregnant with my second child and beginning to get abit scared about this pregnancy after having a bit of a hard time with my first son this is what happened:

i was rushed into hospital with horrific pains at 3am, the midwifes and doctors but me on a shot of petherdine to relieve the pain which had no success the room always full of different people drs, midwifes etc all not knowin wot was causin the pain as i wasnt in labour and wasnt havin any contractions! it wasnt untill i had had 3 shots of petherdine and ALOT of gas and air that the doctors realised that i had internal bleeding which they had no idea where from so then decided to break my waters and get the baby out so he was safe and they could find out wot was wrong. leo was born by natural birth, 38hrs after i was brought into hospital 5weeks premature weighing 6lb12 and perfectly fine! I DONT REMEMBER ANYTHING! i dont even remember the first time i held him.
It turned out that my bowel has pervarated and i had to have major surgery the second time i held my son was when he was going home and i was saying goodbye he was 12days old wen i came out of hospital. he is 4 now and is a great lil boy fulll of energy

my concern is that wot caused the pervarated bowl was a condition i was born with where my bowel was the wrong shape it is very rare that only 2% of population have it and they dont know if it could happen again in this pregnancy or not just wondering if anyone has had problems with there first and then it happend again with there second ????

First off - I am so happy you and your little boy are ok!!!

Secondly - See a specialist - it might help ease your concerns.

Thirdly - Every Pregnancy is different. But worry is not good for a growing baby. Have faith that all will be ok. A positive mind really does do wonders for the soul!!!
