Hello ladies I hope you all are doing well. I've been doing alright, just starting to get nausea this week. It makes me feel kind of queasy all day and gets worse as night approaches. I go in for my first u/s Feb 1st, so I'm just waiting until then.

Does anyone else get night sickness instead of morning sickness?

@DEEDEET- I get "sickness" (but not really I just get queasy) in the middle of the night this last week (i'm 8 wks tomorrow) and have to sip on some gingerale to fall back asleep. I also get hungry around that time. I seem to get just slightly queasy when my tummy gets empty.

Hi ladies,

So after spending the day in the emergency unit on drip and with meds I was sent for u/s.

According to that they marked me as 6wks 2 days (which is ahead of where I am by a week), meaning I ovulated earlier. They didn't do a trans vag one, just a normal one. They sonographer marked out fetal pole and gestational sac which put my mind at ease, she spent a good 15min with me, checking everything.

Has anyone tried Flinstones Vitamin's instead of regular prenatal ones? My ob said I could take them instead b/c the regular ones make me deathly ill, but there are so many different ones. Does anyone know which one is best? Complete, iron, vitamin whatever?

Signed a very confused mama :)

Hey everyone and welcome to those who have recently joined us! So happy for everyone's good news! I got my first u/s today and we are happy to report there is only one and we got to hear the heartbeat which was 150 bpm. Everything looks great and the doctor did confirm I have an ovarian cyst on my right side which does explain the dull pain I get every so often. I hope it doesn't cause me any problems.

My next scan and appt will be in 4 weeks, and that will be for the NT scan.

I had my baby already and was in the sept 2012 club but I lurk in this thread for sentimental reasons lol ;) anyhoo, I'm sorry to hear so many of you have hypermesis or have needed iv fluids! I too had it in my first trimester and it was awful, I lost 15 lbs! So I really feel for you ladies!

Babymamax5- I had to take flinestones as well, I just took the flinestones complete the entire pregnancy but they do not have iron in them, so I took floradix in my second trimester. It's a liquid form iron that is much gentler on the stomach and does not cause constipation. You could try taking it now with the flinestones if you can stomach it, the after taste is very much like iron but at first it tasted like apple juice . It also has added B vitamins which helps fatigue and supposedly nausea though, that didn't really work do me :) GL

knicole27- Ty very much! I was going to wait until my next appt to ask the dr but since they gave me prenatals awhile ago I don't want to wait any longer to take something.

Hi there ladies, well I'm expecting baby #2 which is a shock as i've been in the pill for the past 9 months as I only gave birth on April 2012. By LMP baby should be due 5th Sept but that might not be right as I have PCOS.
I had forgotten how rotten morning sickness makes me feel

Congrats Yasminesa! I have a friend who got preggers on BC pills too so they don't always work!

How is everyone else doing??

Besides the constant nausea, fatigue and constipation, I guess I can't complain too much lol!

Lets try to keep this forum going throughout the trimesters. Although I don't post every day, I do enjoy reading everyone's posts. Keep them coming!! :-)

Loot18 - Thanx, congrats to you too. Yep BC Pill isn't all it's cracked up to be, what a shocker for me but DH said he knew after me being ill for over 3 days, I won't be bigging up my pill to anyone that's for sure.

How are all you ladies?
Ms better or worse?

Mine was really bad yesterday but much better today, I think due to good sleep and rest, plus eating what agrees with me; which is very difficult as my likes and dislikes are changing within minutes.

One gorgeous daughter, Baby #2 (my little surprise) on the way xXx Yasmine

My sickness -- if you can call it that, as I've not actually been sick -- has been really bad for about 4 days. I feel like a lazy bum sitting around doing nothing... but everytime I get up, I just feel worse... Anybody else in the same boat?

6 weeks 3 days :D

Went to the dr's yesterday and got some bad news, they are considering me high-risk b/c 2 of my children have a neurological disorder, my mult M/C, and b/c apparently I have Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. They are sending me to Burlington, VT to see a high-risk dr and a genetic "counselor." I've already heard that they might want me to terminate the pregnancy b/c it's a 50/50 chance my baby could have the same neuro disorder as my other children. I was feeling so happy and good, now I feel lost.

I'm due 16th Sept! Very excited and nervous at the same time. This will be my 7th pregnancy.. with only one being full term. (2nd) Got a beautiful 8 year old.

Had a missed miscarriage in the middle of November last year, babies heart stop beating at 7 weeks but didn't find out till I was 10 weeks and went for a scan.

I'm 8 weeks 3 days now and just waiting to hear when my scan will be, should hopefully be next week as they said they will do one as soon as possible.

Congratulation to everyone! :-)

Miracle7 thats what I went through as well. So I know first hand how you must be feeling. Especially when you're around the time that the previous pregnancy ended. I'm currently in that week now. So I am a ball of stress.

@Babymama...my thoughts and prayers are with you. Hope everything is okay when you go to see the specialist.

AFM - I have no energy about 90% of the time. I also am finding food tastes odd to me. I am hungry, but find it difficult to eat. It's like I've lost my appetite; however, I'm still trying to make myself eat something...fresh fruit and veggies when I can. It is strange being hungry, but not wanting to eat at the same time.

I'm also quite nauseous still. I haven't vommitted yet (Thank Goodness), but feel like I will all the time. I'm about 8 weeks now, so I hope this queasiness will soon pass.

I have my first U/S in about a week and cannot wait! I hope all is well with my little jellybean.
