HELP! Think I am having an early miscarriage

yesterday I started to have light spotting along with a clear discharge when I whipped. This morning I woke up and the bleeding start to get really heavy. I called the OBGYN and he set me up to go in to get my levels check and to see him right after I do my blood work. They asked if I was cramping and I haven't had any of that. Has anyone had a miscarriage at or around 5 weeks? I will be 5 weeks tomorrow.
