So sorry Cristi Hang in there....I know it is tough and definitely a trial for you and your dh but you will be back for good - hopefully soon!

I can't believe it has been 2 weeks already since Alayna was born!! It has been a challenge adjusting especially since my dh has gone back to work...... trying to get a good routine going for all of us during the day now! Madison who is 16 months now is starting to be jealous when I breastfeed or hold her...and purposefully gets in trouble when I am .....Breastfeeding is a challenge because of it and the fact that Alayna doesn't like to sleep at night...so no one else does either! We are half breastfeeding half supplementing so that we can all adjust! And I am not feeling guilty about it! Just doing what is best for us! I recommend that for anyone! Just do what works for you and not what you think you "should do"...

Hey ladies....this forum is almost dead :( I just wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing!

AFM I am 33 weeks and feeling like im 40 weeks! I am sooo huge, ha. I tried cutting my toenails today and pretty much broke out in a sweat! I had an OB appt on Tuesday, baby was head down then but I know he could move around. I am also starting to get the sharp pains in my cervix, what is that from....just the baby pushing on it? Excited for my baby shower in 3 weeks!

Hi momlove!
I'm still here, don't worry. I'm completely saturated in school work right now - trying to finish up before baby... AND I'm still working - blecht!

I was creeping on some pages and it looks like YUMMY had her baby - congrats to her!!! xoxoxo

I think the cervix pains are your body's way of prepping and stretching the cervix as you get closer to D-day! From what I've read, it's not really a predictor of WHEN you will go into labor, just that baby is moving to the right position and things are flowing in the right direction. I, too have noticed this cervix pain that sometimes catches me mid-sentence -yikes! And some pressure, occasional pressure that feels like baby is burrowing down but not getting anywhere. CM has increased, too but nothing brown/blood tinged yet so I'm sure it's just another way for the body to prepare and not a slow leak of the mucus plug or anything. How are you feeling otherwise? Contractions/BH's?? Exhausted? Energized?

TSB- I have been feeling exhausted! My feet and back have been killing me. Everyone I see says "wow you look like you are about to pop"......nope still have 49 days! UGH. I have too noticed that cm has increased. I am hoping to have this baby slightly early, like 37 weeks....my other 2 were 9 days and 5 days over due. The braxton hicks are getting stronger too! Yesterday I had them for a couple of hours off and on, a couple of them actually hurt pretty bad too. I am hoping that means I am starting to dialate...not that it means anything, but exciting nonetheless. How have you been feeling?

I'm still here too! 24 days :)

momlove - I know exactly how you are feeling. Everyone was saying that I was so big when I was 33/34 weeks. Now I have kind of plateaued (sp?) and haven't really gained much weight. He has dropped in the past 2 weeks and gives me a ton of pressure in my pelvis, especially when trying to get up off the couch or out of bed in the middle of the night! Hang in there :)

TSB - we are so close! I hope you are feeling as good as can be expected!

AFM - I just had an appt last night, didn't gain any more weight, and cervix is closed. :( I was hoping to be a little soft! Oh well, keep on cooking baby. I am totally ok with going all the way to my due date. I've prepped myself for it.

Hi Ladies!
Hi momlove - I'm feeling OK... still have some kind of cold and I'm achy all over but nothing I can't handle, ya know?
Yes, newlywed, we are so close!!! Less than four weeks, can you believe it?
I also have those uncomfy pressure/pains whenever I get up from the couch or out of bed. Last night, every time I got up to pee I had a fairly powerful contraction - but they don't last very long. It's just a little more uncomfortable every day.... But still, tolerable. I'm still in school and working so I'm also hoping that the little man stays put until just a few days before the due date. I want him to come early, but not before Oct 27th (when I caught up with school).... Like I said, I have plans! Haha
My BFF is three weeks ahead of me and she is being induced on Monday, crazy! I can't believe she'll have a baby in just a few short days!
Another thing I just remembered, yesterday when I was blowing my nose it was apparently enough force to completely soak my underwear and pants with CM... TMI??? :) I was like.... Holy sh*t!
36 week appt today and I'm kinda hoping they check for progression. My mom and aunt were 3 weeks early with their kiddos....
Glad we still have a little pod of prego ladies here!
Any new baby pics from anyone??

Hey ladies!! My chunky monkey is 5 weeks old and growing like a weed! I love him to pieces. He is truly the sweetest baby! Hardly ever cries and is getting more alert by the day. However he does like to be held and the laundry is suffering. I hope everyone is having a wonderful time adjusting to their new babies!! Congrats to all of the new mommies!

Cristi. I am so sorry about your loss. That is truly heart breaking!! Praying your specialist will find you the answers that you need.

TSB and newlywedkatie! It sounds like both of you ladies are getting close! those last few weeks are excruciating. Full of anticipation and pure discomfort! However they are truly the last few weeks you will sleep! Trust me! Enjoy those naps ladies!!

How are the last few ladies doing??? I cant wait for more babies!!

AFM- I had an appointment today....just the usual check up. One more two week appt then its on to weeklys! Cant wait :) I have a lot of anxiety about having a super big baby so my midwife said she is not opposed to doing a sizing scan as we get closer....34 weeks and counting.

@Kcordell- Your little boy is so adorable! I love that hair! Did you have a lot of heartburn when you were pregnant? They say it is related buut....with my son I had tons of heartburn and he didn't have much hair, and with this one I have a ton more heartburn....I was hoping for a little hair this time!

Hi Ladies :)
So much happening now in the last few weeks! Started my maternity leave early to try and manage everything else going on in life. Even with not working I feel like I'm running all over the place every day - phew!
Last week they checked me and I had zero progress. This week I had some spotting after sex which TOTALLY caught me off guard - haven't seen spotting since February! And then yesterday they checked me again - dilated about one fingertip (<1cm) with no thinning. So... eh. Not very exciting. Much more spotting this morning when I woke up but I guess that's going to be my thing now - "spotting with activity".
Also got a call from the doctors that they want to do one more sizing scan in the near future. He measured in the 92nd percentile a few weeks back!! My belly is measuring right on, for where I should be but.... 92% yikes.
Still trucking along with nursing school and trying very hard to stay ahead of my work so I can have a good amount of free time with baby and still graduate in December.... thank goodness the MIL is coming out here in November to help me out!
BFF just delivered her baby boy two days ago and he is the spitting image of his father!! It was a really special day : )
And I think thats about it?
It's the hubs birthday today so I'm going to surprise him with an ice cream cake at work - what's better than ice cream cake?!? And then we have a last-minute maternity photo shoot this Sunday with a great friend who is a photographer! Should be a fun time. I'll post a pic if we get a good one. She's going to do the newborn shoot too! Very excited for that one :)
Hope all is well with everyone!

Hey ladies! I know I left this board in April when we miscarried, but I snooped around a week or so ago. October is the month that we were due - the 28th to be exact.

Anyway, I wanted to let you know that I am 12 DPO and I am pregnant. It's super early, so we will see what happens, but after six months of trying after our miscarriage we have finally conceived. I am trying to stay in the moment and not get too excited.

So that's my news. (-:

Congratulations on everyone's beautiful babies! Did anyone ever hear from Grantsmama?

Hey all!

@while congrats on your pregnancy! That's wonderful news!!!! Boy what a road ahead you have! Wishing you all the best and hope to keep in touch over the course of your 9 3/4 months!

Good luck to all the mummas up and coming! It's hard to believe nearly every one is finished this journey on the fall baby board!

Sorry I was so absent in my last week. Life caught up very suddenly and getting everything ready got the Better of me! My wee girl is now 17 days old and oh boy this whole motherhood thing is so much more than I ever expected. It has been such a roller coaster up and down of good and bad.
Overall I guess I'm blessed with a pretty good baby and a very supportive family around me.
Bub loves the car, loves the buggy, loves the bath (when she's not starving) and breast feeds & poops like a champion since day one.
She put on 5oz in her first week and at 2 weeks was up 14oz!

She was born at 3.35pm on the 3rd of October New Zealand time after a 25 hour labour. 6lbs 6.5oz

Hope for some more news soon mummas! I do still stalk the board btw :-) my replies just got mega mega lazy!

How is everyone??? Anymore babies??

AFM, I am 36 weeks tomorrow!! I finally have a baby shower tomorrow and I am super excited! I have been feeling so much pressure down below. The baby will move just right and hit a nerve in my back that almost puts me on the floor....eek, doesn't feel good. I start going to weeklys on Monday...they will do the GBS test...I dont think they will check for dialation yet...but maybe.

Hi Ladies!
Hope everyone is doing well (new mommies AND those still waiting)!
Just got home from my 39 wk check up and found out I am 2cm dilated and 50% effaced! So glad to here I'm finally making some progress!! Due date is on Monday and I was really fretting going late since he measured over 8lbs as of last week! Eek! Doc is pretty confident we will have the baby before next week and didn't even bother scheduling me for a 40 week appt.... that sounds so surreal! I will keep you all posted, though I imagine there may be some radio silence if I end up delivering soon.
xoxo

Hi all!

Sorry this is a little late.. my sweet baby boy was born on Sunday, October 20, 2013 @ 2:24am 6lbs15oz 21" and was at 38weeks1day. I pushed for about an hour and 10 minutes. Had an epidural at 4cm - felt labor prior to that and man did it hurt! My water broke at 5:44am on Sat 10/19 - like gushed and wouldn't stop until about 1pm! I had quite a bit of fluid, not of any concern but wow! I didn't have regular contractions so after painting my nails, shaving my legs and grabbing a light lunch we arrived ar the hospital around 12:30pm. They put me on pitocin at 3:30pm (i was only at 1.5cm) which jump started my labor. I did take fentanyl around 6pm for the pain which was a bad idea. It wore off in 30 min and they can't give you anything for an hour after administering a narcotic. When I finally got the epidural it was about 8:30pm. My parents, in-laws and brother-in-law came into the room until 10:30pm. I was fully dilated at Midnight and my Dr said I would be pushing within 2 hrs.. it imly took 1 hour to feel the urge to push. My hubby was amazing as well as the nurse that coached me through it all!

I am so in love and happy to be a mommy. I was meant to be one and Parker completes our lives!
