About Me

Call it a test of Faith, strength and will. I can't believe that I am here again after the loss of my Son Connor who was Stillborn on February 20, 2015. Everyday has been a struggle since that day I found out we lost our Baby... a child who was created with so much love. I lost a part of me that day... my life will forever have a void.
On May 13, 2015 after visiting my Perinatologist, we went over the fact it was Premature Placental Aging that ultimately caused the demise of our son and was given the "go ahead" to try again.
During this 1st cycle, we conceived again! After our 1st month of trying, I am here again! It is a MIRACLE that this has happened again this soon and I was in no way expecting this. Everything was off... I couldn't get a postive OPK. I was sure I missed our opportunity but I took a HPT on what I think is 13dpo, and I got a Positive!!!!
I am hopeful and Pray I have my Miracle Rainbow!

I miss you my Angel Connor... every moment, every breath I take.
June 5, 2015 - BFP; July 2, 2015 heartbeat 156 bpm measuring 7w5d; June 29, 2015 Heart beat 166 bpm measuring 11w5d - Thin space back of neck 1.0 mm (normal); Aug 4, 2015 all tests came back low risk for chromosomal abnormalities. It's a Boy!
Induction Date is February 5, 2016 7 am
Officially on Maternity Leave - Jan 21, 2016
January 26, 2016 - Mathew Joseph born at 3:16 pm Weight 6 lb 13 oz, 20.5"

My Birth Plan

This time around is going to be a little different. If all goes well this pregnancy (stress tests starting at 32 weeks, Ultrasounds to keep an eye on growth and other tests) I will be induced February 5th 2016. (Confirmed as of Dec 9)
I will definitely allow them to make me as comfortable as possible with an epidural. Being induced with Connor, my body reacted TOO WELL with Pitocin so I am hopeful it will be a quick delivery too. Praying for this Baby... Please Lord, let me hold this baby in my arms alive and healthy giving me decades watching my baby live a wonderful, successful life. Amen.

Hey, girl! I'll help any time I can! =))
The doppler I used was the Sonoline C1, and I LOVED it! It arrived at 8w5d and I picked up a strong HB that day. The Sonoline B is the same thing but the probe is straight and the unit doesnt look as nice (imo), whereas my probe has a slight curve. I got it on ebay for under $50 w/ free S&H.
