About Me

I married my DH in March 2012 and we decided to wait till after our honeymoon in June to TTC. On May 31st, I had my left ovary and fallopian tube removed and my IUD. I was sure it was going to take years to get pregnant. It took 6 weeks!

I have a DS and a DD who I had little complications with during pregnancy other than pre-eclampsia (with my son) and pregnancy induced hypertension (with my daughter). I'm now considered high risk for pregnancy induced hypertension, but I hope to not have any other issues with this pregnancy. I'm also Rh- so I get those special shots in the bum. Being pregnant is SO much fun!!! :-)

My DH is over the moon to become a daddy and we are happy whether #3 is a girl or a boy.

My Birth Plan

We're planning a hospital birth. If I have to be induced it's fine by me, been there, done that. I'll definitely get an epidural and I'll come home the instant they let me!

I've never had a baby without ten thousand people in the room (or so it feels) and I think this time it's just going to be me and DH. I'll have someone bring the older kids shortly after, because I want them to be the first to meet baby. They are already really excited and can't wait for another brother or sister!

So much in fact that towards the end I changed my mind and decided I didn't want to give birth after all, LOL! Owen is doing great, already 5 weeks old! Time is flying by :( I was going to see if you were on facebook? It is easier for me to post pictures and stuff on there if you are interested, just let me know!
