About Me
My name is Lacey, i'm 23, DH is Kaleb and he is 26, we conceived our first baby in July 2011, we had gotten married Feb. 2011 and didnt want to wait, so it took a few months of trying, but we got our baby boy! I decided I would quit birth control in October, I figured I knew my body best and if we didnt want a baby i knew what days to abstain from sex, but we figured we would just go with the flow and if it happens it happens! We said we would start trying after the first of the year and we did, our son turned 1 year old in April and we decided together we would take a TTC break that month to focus on our son, lo and behold we got our BFP that month! Overall I was off the pill for 7 cycles. We couldn't be more excited!
My Birth Plan
I ended up being induced with our son and ended in a c-section. I am determined to have a VBAC with baby #2, and in order to achieve this we will have to travel almost 2 hours, while in labor, to get to the hospital of choice! (yay...) I hired a doula for baby #2, for extra support and encouragement, I will be attempting an all natural vbac, no interventions and no pain medication. I am lucky because the hospital we are going to allows laboring and birthing in the tubs, yay! I will be refusing CFM (continuous fetal monitoring) as that was an issue when i was induced, i could not move around and was so uncomfortable with those stupid straps around my belly, i want to get up and move around! Otherwise that is about it, my doctor will be sure to know all of this, i have heard a lot of wonderful things about him, so i'm pretty confident!
