My name is Amie I am 30 years old and my husband and I have been trying for a baby for two years. We started seeing an RE in November who found no real reason we were not conceiving on our own. She encouraged us to try iui and ivf. We only did one cycle of iui with clomid and de ided we didn't want to wait anymore and went straight to ivf seeing my insurance covers it. After a month and a half of preparing we harvested 10 follies, in which through icsi were all fertilized we did a day five embryo transfer with just one blastocyte. The remaining eggs were cuktured an additional day and we had six more frozen. With the help of being on both progesterone suppositories and estrogen patches we got lucky with our first transfer. We are over the moon excited.
My Birth Plan
So far my birth plan is very vague and sure it will change. I know I would like to try to do this naturally with any meds to help but that may change. I know for sure I would like to have my mom and sister with me and my husband if he would like. He says he really doesn't want to be there during the pushing because he hates to see me in pain but I tyhink he will change his mind. That's as far as I have thought it out for now but I'm only 5 weeks still.
