About Me

I am 38 years old and this is my first pregnancy. This has been a heck of a journey!!! I found out in March 2013 that my tubes were blocked and my amh was very low. I went to my doctor and they counted 4 antral follicles which is not very good since most women have 10 or more. After numerous tests, we decided I should hurry up and do IVF because time was ticking. One doctor told me I should just move on with donor eggs and not even bother with IVF. I did laparoscopic surgery to ligate my tubes and started IVF #1 shortly after. First IVF was in June and we transferred 3 embryos. BFN. Started second IVF in August. We transferred 3 embryos again and one stuck!!! I am only 8 weeks but I am grateful every day for this gift. I also have super high anxiety since there has been a lot of emotional ups and downs this past year. I pray every day this baby will stick.
