About Me
My DH and I have been together for almost 4 years and will be celebrating our 2nd wedding anniversary in January. I have a beautiful daughter that I inherited from his first marriage. She's 6 years old and calls me her "second mama", because she doesn't like to use the word "step".We have been trying for awhile to conceive and this is my 3rd pregnancy in 2 years. Sadly our first two children were lost to unknown causes through MC within the first trimester. After being devastated by my 2nd loss in May 2013, I was wary about getting pregnant and we really didn't plan on trying.
Fate had a different plan however and in July 2013 we discovered that I was pregnant again.
I was scared at first and afraid to allow myself to hope, but after hearing that little rapid heartbeat for the first time? Well it chased some of my fears away.
Fast forward to now and our baby girl is perfectly healthy. She's extremely active, allowing me to feel her dancing around in my belly every day.
We are beyond blessed and extremely excited!
