About Me

After 18 months of trying, 1 early miscarriage and 1 or 2 chemical pregnancies, we are so so thrilled to make it to the 3rd trimester with this little guy. This is my first child and I'm 33. I'm in grad school studying to become a Unitarian Universalist minister. I do mostly youth and young adult spirituality and counseling work. I live in Chicago and as of right now none of my close local friends have children. I'd love to meet some other Chicago moms but I'm also just so happy to have my internet friends for times when I get crazy :)

My Birth Plan

The plan, if you can call it that, is to do a totally natural birth. I am working with a team of midwives and am hoping to hire a doula as well. I hope, if all goes well, that I can have a water birth, but I know that things happen and plans change so we'll see!
