About Me
I have a beautiful 15 year old daughter whom I love more than words could even express. I was a young mother, only 18 years old when she was born and just knew she would be my one and only for the rest of my life. I was adament about it for many many years until I met the love of my life!I met Chris when we were 15 through a mutual friend at the lake. In 2011 we started hanging out and enjoyed watching the Dallas Mavericks win the Championship, but we didn't officially get together until early 2012. I knew very quickly that this was the man of my dreams, the man I wanted to spend my life with and enjoy everything together. He knew I did not want anymore children and was ok with that. There were a few times I noticed he had a true desire for a child of his own, especially Halloween 2013. He loved passing out candy and seeing all the children in their costumes. He kept saying "Awe I want one" but to me it was not sinking in until later that November. We had a conversation one day and I noticed the look in his eyes he truly wanted a child and at that moment I could picture having a child with him. I started having dreams about our child and it warmed my heart. I was surprise that I wanted another after all these years. To me it was starting all over again, but to be honest with you I was a mother my entire adult life and it saddened me thinking about Blue leaving the nest one day. In January I got the all clear from my dr and on St Patty's day found out we were 5 weeks pregnant!
Chris has been an incredible father to Blue, which is difficult for someone to come into a teenagers life and be a father figure to them, but he did it with such ease and Blue loved him immediately. I know he will be a wonderful father to this one as well. It has been an emotional journey so far but I am so very lucky so very blessed to have such a patient, loving, understanding, always there when I need him partner to go through this journey with me. I'm loving life!!
