About Me

Hi there!

I'm 32, DH is 35.

We've been trying to start a family since April 2013. It's been a long, difficult and emotional journey for us - with two consecutive MMC (June 2013 and October 2013) and then a chemical in April 2014.

We've been working with a fertility specialist since October 2013 and have no identified issues except that I'm mildly hypothyroid. I was diagnosed with Asherman's (complications after the two D&C's in 2013) but it has been resolved through operative hysteroscopy.

This time around we're feeling optimistic and are due on or around May 3rd. :)

UPDATE - We found out on Christmas morning that we are expecting a baby GIRL!!

My Birth Plan

My birth plan is to bring home our daughter safe, sound, and healthy. If that means changing the plan or our preferences to suit the situation, so be it.

We will be working with a midwife and would like to deliver either at a birthing centre or at a hospital.
